Person is a grammatical term. We talk of "1st person", "2nd person", and "3rd person".
Personal pronouns change according to person, for example, I (1st person), you (2nd person), they (3rd person).
Nouns and noun phrases are always 3rd person.
Verbs are affected by the person of the subject. [See -s form]
