Nothing

Nothing is an indefinite pronoun. It is a negative pronoun which applies to things or to anything that is "not a person". For a person, we use no one or nobody.
Ex:
1. "Did you buy anything at the market?" "No. I bought nothing at all."
2. There's nothing in the room. It's completely empty.

We can also say: "I didn't buy anything at all" and "There isn't anything in the room."
