Anyway

Anyway is an informal linking adverb meaning "in any case".
Ex: "Daddy, can I have that RC* car for my birthday?" "No. It's too expensive. Anyway, you have enough RC cars already."

* RC = Remote Control

Anyway is common in speech, and is often used to change the topic.
Ex: "Jack is a bad prime minister. He's very cruel." "Really? Anyway, let's not talk about politics."

In end position, anyway can also mean "in any case" or "whatever the circumstances". Let's example below:
My friend doesn't care what his father says, he's going to do it anyway.
