Become

Become is a linking verb, like be and seem.

Become has the same forms as come (with be- added). It means that there is a change of state.

Become can be followed by a noun phrase or by an adjective (as complement).

Ex:
Before she becomes a doctor, she has to study for six years in a medical school.

Sam and his new neighbour soon became friends.

You become the meaning of my life.
