Most English verbs are regular. They have four different forms:
(1) Basic form: This is the form we will find in a dictionary.
(2) -S form: Used in the 3rd person present tense.
(3) -ED form: Used for the past tense and past participle.
(4) -ING form: Used for the -ing (or "present participle").
In this blog we write the above forms as follows:

(3) -ED form: Verb-ed
(4) -ING form: Verb-ing
